Chelsea is a skilled litigator, winning more than 40 jury trials over the course of her tenure as a Deputy District Attorney in Colorado’s 1st Judicial District prior to switching to practicing insurance defense law. She now handles matters related to insurance bad faith, personal injury, premises liability, property damage, and uninsured/underinsured motorists.

Prior to practicing insurance defense law, Chelsea was a Deputy District Attorney (DDA) in Colorado’s 1st Judicial District (Jefferson County) where she was assigned to both District and County Courts. She is a skilled litigator, winning more than 40 jury trials over the course of her tenure as a DDA.
Chelsea received her J.D. from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law in 2018. In law school she was a member of D.U.’s highly-rated National Trial Team, where she excelled in a variety of regional and national trial competitions, including the Hoffman Cup competition, where she was a Championship Finalist in 2016 and 2017 and was named Best Advocate in 2017. Chelsea also worked as a law clerk in the Office of the District Attorney for both the 18th and 20th Judicial Districts while in law school.
In addition to her J.D., Chelsea earned a bachelor’s degree in film, television, and theatre from the University of Notre Dame in 2010.
In her spare time, Chelsea enjoys reading, Notre Dame football, classic cars, crossword puzzles, stand-up comedy, travel, and spending time with her unruly puppy.
